Beware of Tricky PRicingWe are all cost conscious, especially in today's economic times. But sometimes what appears to be a great deal up front ends up costing you more than you expected. This is true of those incredible extremely low advertised prices that are actually teasers designed to capture your attention, but when you finally add up all that needs to be done the cost is actually equal to or even more than the average pricing for the same exact treatments and services.
Of even more significance is a low cost treatment that cause a problem that requires even greater expense to correct... if it can even be corrected. Be careful not to save a little in the beginning and then have to spend more at the end.
Make sure you have a written estimate that includes all the costs and all the services that are to be provided. Make sure that you are comparing similar services. And make sure that the treatment you want to have done is the right one for the concerns you are addressing. Then you can really compare and make an informed decision.
NEVER EVER SACRIFICE SAETY OR QUALITY FOR PRICE!!
Quality Vs. Price"You get what you pay for"
It's an old saying and we have all heard it, but we don't often realize how true that saying is. If a deal sounds too good to be true, it often is. Make sure that you are getting all the services that are required including any pre-procedure preparations, post-treatment follow-up exams, and safety precautions in place.
"In a $1000 storm I don't want a $500 pilot"
One of our patients.said this to us when he was explaining why he came to us as opposed to another medical office that was offering the same treatments, but a little cheaper. That patient was a pilot for a major commercial airlines and his analogy was appropriate for his profession. He felt very comfortable with our credentials and experience. And he really liked that fact that we have been practicing in this field for 20 years!
